Hermosillo Mexico Travel Guide
Hermosillo, the Capital of the state of Sonora, is only a 1 hour and 20 minutes drive north of San Carlos and 250 kilometers from the border of Arizona. With a little more than 300 years of history, Hermosillo has become one of the most important capitals in Mexico.
Hermosillo is also well known as ¨La Ciudad Del Sol¨ (City of the Sun) because of its high temperatures during summer time.
In spite of the high temperatures in Hermosillo, it is compensated with the beach destinations of Kino Bay and San Carlos that are nearby.
Hermosillo offers golf, recreational parks, museums, a zoo, night clubs, movie theaters, big-city shopping, and diversity in restaurants. This is a place where you can find rich culture, excellent gastronomy and different places of interest to visit for everyone.
